In memory and honor of Paul’s Grandfather, Herman Gasperetti.

Herman was born March 12,  1923. Herman accomplished so much in his life. He was a father of 3, a Grandfather to 4, and a role model for many. He worked on planes in WWII. He designed and constructed the backrest for the soldiers in his favorite plane, the B-17. After the War he  worked as a welder on Nuclear Submarines. 38 years ago he survived cancer. He was an excellent swing dancer, had the biggest sweet tooth, and always had something clever and hilarious to say.

He will forever be missed.

Herman said, “I chose a carbine because it’s light and I didn’t want to carry all the ammo for the Thompson.”

Herman and Georgina were married April 10, 1948.

April 10, 1998 Herman and Georgina celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. 

Herman and Georgina celebrated their 63rd Wedding Anniversary on April 10, 2011.
