Strawberry Glazed Fruity Almond Tart is what I made this week.
Crust:
2 sticks butter (softened)
3 c flour
2 1/2 c powder sugar
Mix with hands into dough ball. Spread out onto sprayed pizza pan, making sure to push dough up to edges to create a lip. Use fork to make decorative stripes. Put in oven 375 degrees, 12-18 minutes
Cream:
1 package of cream cheese (softened)
1 cup powder sugar
3 tsp Vanilla Extract
3 tsp Almond Extract
Blend with mixer until well whipped and spread onto fully cooled crust.
Fruit Topping & Glaze:
Nicely cut and arrange the Kiwi, Strawberries, & whole Blueberries on cream base layer. Place 1/4 c of low sugar strawberry preserves in a custard dish. Put in microwave for 20 seconds (or until it liquifies) and brush it generously over the fruit to seal the tart. Place in refrigerator.
