Jess + Alex planned a calm ceremony in their own yard & an evening playing lawn games & dancing. So, that’s exactly how their wedding day went!
For starters, their property is gorgeous and was decorated with antique-organic tones with lovely blooms to match. The rural surroundings, frog-filled lagoon, spacious white tent, and twinkle-lit trees were just perfect.
Their home was the perfect wedding venue for them to express their personality + left them tons of space to fill with their DIY decorations and provide a fun, casual day with friends & family.
Everything you see was handmade by the Bride + Groom & their loving family + friends.
Jess + Alex are truly incredible individuals and make a beautiful couple. These two lovebirds created a beautiful wedding, that was nothing short of a true labor of love.
I am so beyond grateful they chose me as their wedding photographer. xo
Their wedding photos have been featured on WeddingChicks, Brides, and the Huffington Post.
Special Thanks To: Bride & Groom’s friends and family helped A LOT!! Without their help we wouldn’t have been able to pull off what we did.
Emmy did a great job on everyone’s makeup!
Bride’s Favorite Part: Seeing how happy Alex was to see me and being able to see what I visioned all come together.
. . . simple & calming ceremony setting.
I loved how happy Alex was to see Jessica walk down the isle.
Advice for Brides from the Bride: Don’t be afraid to look for decorations or attire in different places then the typical bridal shops. I found awesome stuff online, in my own basement and on the side of the road!
