“Working with Ren was everything I dreamt of and more! Ren & Becky (second shooter) made my groom and I feel like celebrities for a day. They never missed a beat and would gladly take photos on demand without hesitation. Ren arrived on time that Saturday morning, ready to shoot! She brought with her a printed packet of info that included all the time, place and formal photo details I had sent plus examples of previously discussed poses. She was READY – no questions, no fussing, just ready! Ren & Becky remained calm, cool and collected throughout the day – their energy was contagious. My groom and I found ourselves having the same conversation with numerous guests that went like this…“So how do you guys know Ren?” “She’s our photographer, we hired her…” “Oh, so you didn’t know her before hiring her? You seem like long-time friends!” I think these exchanges really point to how well she meshed into our entire day and how relaxed we were around her.
Ren and I were on the same page since day 1. I communicated our style and she took it from there. No need to spend hours researching pose ideas, she had that covered. Not only was Ren a fabulous photographer, but I consulted with her during our planning process to ask her opinion of vendors in other categories – we really valued her feedback. Ren is a super busy woman, but you’d never know it because she was always very quick to reply to any form of communication, email/text/snail mail/etc. Her wedding packages are also a super value for the price – the package we purchased includes a custom designed wedding album, something other photographers charge hundreds more for. She’s also quite skilled in photo editing; picking adjustments that best fit the mood/atmosphere/theme. I’m so thankful that our paths crossed – we will cherish these photos for years to come.
