Tips for What to Wear for your Studio 29 Photography Photo Session
- Choose similar tones for your top and bottom (both dark or both light) The mixture of hues will photograph great together without looking too “matchy”
- Select 1-3 colors for your group portraits with similar tones that go nicely together and have everyone work within that color palette. For darker tones: dark green, navy, and burgundy OR, example, lighter tones: tan, lighter green, and denims
- Choose long pants for men/ladies or a skirt below the knee for ladies
- Wear solids or simple patterns, but do not over do it with the patterns. Solid dark colors are the most flattering
- Keep jewelry simple and minimal, unless you are specifically going for a certain, more-stylized, look – – talk to me about it
- Stick to well fitted clothing. Clothing that hangs off your body will make you look bigger than you are and will photograph very messy
- Variety works! It is always best to bring a few different outfits so that you can change depending on styling and location
- Most importantly: Be comfortable! I promise, you will have a much better time if love the clothes you have chosen for your session
