Decoration details:
- The Bride learned calligraphy to address all the save the dates, invitations, escort cards
- Bride gathered wedding photos of parents and grandparents for display on entrance table
- The cake topper was Gina’s parents wedding cake topper (something borrowed)
- Gina’s fur jacket was borrowed from Mike’s great grandma (something borrowed)
- The cake was made by the couples college friend Brad Banks who is a self taught pastry chef and now owns own company “Cakes by Banks”
- The garter the bride is wearing was made by a friend of the family and is made from her mothers wedding dress and also has a pin from her grandmother
- Gina also has some of the ribbon from her moms wedding dress sewn into her dress (something blue)
- The bride has a handkerchief that was once her Fathers mom’s (something old)
- Gina has sparkly keds to change into for the reception (so she can DANCE!!) and gave all of her bridemaids personalized Keds as a present (and little furs in case it is cold during pictures outside)
My mom for helping collect all the wedding décor for the reception, creating all the favors and corks for the place cards (pain staking work).
My amazing sister and MOH! Helped physically and emotionally throughout the process.
Alycia (bridesmaid) making all the sandwiches for the day of lunch! And helping with the small details over a glass of wine at my apartment.
