Hi Hi! I hope you all had a fantastic week!
Last week was amazing – my mom visited me from VA, we saw the Blue Angels at the MKE Air Show, hosted another GGT Shoot-Along ((it was a huge success)), did some more planning for projects around the house and yard, started reading a new book (Amy Poehler’s Yes Please. I only just started this book and I am hooked! I have loved Amy for a long time; mainly because Caleb and I watch an episode of Parks and Recreation every evening before we go to bed.). . . .aaaannnnnnddddd had my work featured on Desiree Hartsock’s Blog. This weekend was also pretty busy, we photographed TWO weddings + a Hollywood themed birthday party for an amazing 7 year old; Nash. Caleb and I dressed up as paparazzi and had a great time with the kiddos.
WHEW! I am still pretty tired!

1. My Burt’s Bees Skin Nourishing Night Cream. This year I have been making an effort to reduce toxins in my life and I found BB has fewer hazardous ingredients than my old nighttime lotion. I’ve been checking the products we use in our home on this website : Skin Deep: Cosmetic Safety Reviews. Another site I’ve been checking products on is GoodGuide.
2. Summer means lots of outdoor sessions, which means longer sun exposure. This summer I’ve been hooked on ThinkSport Sunscreen. I love their products and I leally love the companies mission statement: Create safe products. Have the least impact possible on the environment in the creation, packaging, usage, and disposal of product possible. Connect to non-profit organizations engaged in activities that help the world become a safer, healthier place.
3. I strongly believe every woman should own a pair of overalls and I am so happy overalls made a comeback! I love being comfortable, looking good, and feeling like a third grade version of my self.  I like pairing my Madewell Adirondack Short Overalls in Saskia Wash Overalls with one of my bodysuits.

Caleb and I have a lot going on … including our 1 Year Wedding Anniversary on Saturday!!! So far, celebratory plans include: pontoon boat ride around the Lake at dusk and watching a fireworks show on Friday evening. And for Saturday, we will be taking Kenzo on a long walk through one of Wi’s State Parks and going to a nice dinner.
