Saturday was fantastic. Amalia + Mike tied the knot and I could not be any happier for them.
When I first met Amalia, at Starbucks, I was pretty certain I was signing up for something really special. After shooting their engagement session, I KNEW I was correct!
I have been anticipating this wedding for quite some time. Amalia and I have been emailing, texting, and meeting for lunch to discuss all of the fun elements of her wedding day. Everything that Amalia envisioned came together flawlessly.
Their entire day was perfect from start to finish. I couldn’t have asked for any better weather, any funnier of a wedding party, and any kinder of a wedding couple.
Their venue was spectacular; both the ceremony and the reception took in Milwaukee, at The Hamilton.
After the formal dances, we left the reception for a bit and had a mini-advenure on a nearby bridge. Not to beep my own horn, but some really fantastic stuff happened. ((Beep Beep))
I feel so LUCKY that I was chosen to photograph their special day! Thank you, A + M!
Enjoy the preview! XOXO

Any special credit or a special thank you to family members/friends?
My special thank you goes out to my sister, Kari and our parents. Without you all, Mike and I wouldn’t have had the wedding of our dreams.
Kari, you kept your cool throughout wedding planning and helped me with anything and everything I needed. You kept me grounded and without you I wouldn’t have been able to wear a perfect handmade veil and our guests wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the most beautiful centerpieces I’ve ever seen. And, I wouldn’t have been able to laugh about the stresses of wedding planning without you. Thank you for everything, it meant the world to us.
To our parents, thank you for being there in our times of need. I don’t know what we would have done without you day of to help coordinate the last minute details. Thank you for making everything perfect, it didn’t go unnoticed. We love you all!
Your Favorite Part of the Big Day? What wasn’t my favorite part of our wedding day?! Everything was magical! Although, I do have to say, the most memorable part was walking down the aisle with my dad at my side, seeing my husband for the first time, both of us all dolled up and smiling from ear to ear. Once I made it to the alter, I had no idea I was shaking like a leaf, until my husband grabbed my hands and whispered he loved me. We didn’t let go of each other for the entire day. We would catch each other gazing at one another in amazement, soaking in the love. That was my favorite feeling of the night and I will never forget it.
